The
complex comprises a two-level bunker and a set of garages.
Technical details of the bunker:
The bunker was constantly manned and was part of the Warsaw Pact alert system. 30 people were constantly here on a 7/24 basis. The Bundeswehr later took over the site and intended to carry out explosives trials in the bunker. Following complaints from the neighbours, it was decided to build a two-level section of the bunker and to use it as a target for new weapons systems.

The lower level comprises:
The bunker and the adjoining garages were separated by a 2 m layer of gravel, but were linked via an airlock system. One of the garages is also known as Facility 01.
The two garage complexes were some 48 m long, 15 m wide and 7 m high and were protected by blast doors. The wooden doors in the photo were fitted after the 16 to. blast doors had been removed for scrap. Each garage complex had a ventilation system. Garage 1 was linked to the outer fuel tank. The second complex had washing and toilet facilities, metering equipment for the bunker's fuel supply, plus LV facilities and transformers for the weather station located outside.
The garages housed, amongst other vehicles, two cabins of the automatic control system WP-02 M, the signals cabin 5D97, the workshop and spare-parts cabin 5D92P, two trailers with a diesel-electric station 5E96 and the eight cabins forming part of the automatic control system "SENESH". The garages are now in private hands and cannot be visited. The site also has two further bunkers: a Type FB-3 and an FB-75.
This bunker was located in the technical area of the radar unit and provided protection for radar and HQ personnel. This type of bunker was found in numerous NVA facilities.
The entrance complex is located in a two-level bunker. The upper level contained the airlock, toilets and washrooms and the filter system. The lower level has three rooms for electrics, air-conditioning and water supply / sewage.

The lower level of the entry bunker leads you to the three star-shaped / radial FB-75 bunkers. In the version here, 32 three-section arcs form each bunker. A raised floor was inserted to create a second level.
Upper level: the arc sections can be clearly seen here The upper levels of the three bunkers provided accommodation for personnel, rooms for the technicians, classrooms, offices for the political department. One of the bunkers also had an emergency exit.
The lower level had further offices and training rooms. There was also a club room. Lower level of an FB 75 leading to an office.
